Spill Response Training Course
WHO IS THE COURSE DESIGNED FOR: This course is ideal for all personnel who may have to store, use, dispose or respond to an incident involving petrochemical (hydrocarbons) and chemical liquid spills.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES: At the completion of the course, participants will have knowledge of:
- Environmental Legislation & EPA Guidelines for Bunding & Spill Management;
- Workplace Health & Safety Considerations;
- Contaminants, EPA Listed Pollutants, what constitutes contamination;
- Absorption principles
- Identification & use of Absorbent powders/mediums, containment equipment & principles
- Understanding & correct application of Spill Response steps

Basic Spill Kit Induction
This general Spill Response Induction, gives participants a basic understanding of a Spill Kit and how to use the kit in a spill situation.
If you are located in the SE QLD region, this induction is offered complimentary when you purchase your spill kit. For all kit purchases outside of this area, Ecospill will include an informative handout explaining the universal Seven Step Spill Guide, with key tips on how to use the products in the kit.
