To ensure your Spill Kit is maintained at its maximum spill response capacity, each spill kit should be regularly checked and re-stocked where necessary. Inside the lid of each Ecospill Spill Kit is a Contents Label, which shows the correct quantities and products required for the kit to be at its optimum. Sound environmental compliance mandates that your spill kits be checked regularly. Most industrial workshops will require a quarterly check. High use workshops may require more frequent checking, such as monthly. You can customise your automatic check-up cycle by contacting your Ecospill representative.
Essentially each Spill Kit contains three types of absorbent materials: Absorbent Powder (such as EcoSweep Bioactive Absorbent, ChemSorb, or Snow Absorbent); Absorbent Mats; and Land Socks (or Land Booms as they’re also called). Importantly, each Ecospill Spill Kit contains the suggested Personal Protective Equipment ( PPE ) relevant for absorbing the particular type of liquid (fuel & oil, chemical, non-agressive chemical) that the spill kit is designed for.
