Sorbents provide a vital role in spill containment and clean up. Sometimes the quickest and easiest way to clean up dangerous goods liquid spills in the workplace is to use Ecospill Absorbent Mats and Rolls. Absorbent Mats, sometimes called Absorbent Pads, provide super absorbency and are less messy to use than organic powders. Sonically bonded to reduce linting and for added strength, absorbent pads offer outstanding absorbency. The spilled liquid is drawn up into the centre of the mat. Using the absorbent mats is simple: simply placemats onto the spilled liquid, pat down the back of the mat to ensure contact and watch the liquid being drawn up. When the mat has reached full absorption, you’ll see it easily because it will be completely saturated with the spilled liquid. Simply lift up and dispose of in accordance with local regulations. You should always make sure you use the correct PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) that’s appropriate for the type of liquid that was spilled.

They will not mildew, the absorbent mat can be left in place until fully saturated. For greater convenience Ecospill Absorbent Mats are available in Absorbent Rolls. Absorbent Rolls can cover a larger ground area quickly. They are perforated every 50cm, so you can easily tear off the section of the section of the mat that you require. Hazchem Absorbent Mats
For all Hazchem and chemical spills use the Hazchem Grade Absorbent Mats which are designed to absorb chemical spills on land. Not suitable for watercourses. For greater convenience, Ecospill Hazchem Absorbent Mats are available in Absorbent Rolls. Absorbent Rolls can cover a larger ground area quickly. They are perforated every 50cm, so you can easily tear off the section of the mat that you require. Absorbent Rolls can be mounted in a handy dispenser for ease of use in the workshop. Ecospill Hazchem Absorbent Mats are yellow in colour.
