Bookkeeper / Accountant

We have been evolving within the Environmental Spill Management Market for the past eight years and are placed in a position of strength that sees Ecospill with an exciting future where growth management will be imperative.  We are looking for an accountant or senior book keeper to join us in January 2010, who will be responsible for the following activities and more:

• Profit and Loss Reporting
• Balance Sheet Reporting
• Cash flow reporting
• Account File Maintenance so that year end returns are ready to be verified by external accountant
• Inventory Control
• Bank Reconciliations
• Account Reconciliations
• BAS preparation and lodgement
• Payroll
• Super Contributions
• Overseas Payments
• Foreign Currency Strategies and Calculations
• Overseeing Accounts Receivable and Payable
• Inter company transactions and reconciliations
• Ad Hoc Reporting
• Financial Systems Development

The successful candidate for this role must have a minimum of 5 years accounts experience within Australia and will work closely with the Managing Director.

Experience working with MYOB is preferred.  Knowledge of Netsuite and SAP based accounting platforms will be looked upon favourably.

Permanent position, full time, based at our Brendale Head Office.  Hours can be flexible to allow for school hours for the right candidate.
